Design, build, and wear your own light-up UNICORN headband! Mashing up tech & crafts is the name of the game at the TechnoChic booth. Learn how to incorporate LED lights into your Unicorn horn headband, then fold shimmery ears and decorate your project to be uniquely you!

Playing Unlimited - Kids Zone - #K-11

Playing Unlimited, Inc. will feature a PlayMais play table, where kids can try out this unique crafting material from Germany. All it takes is a little bit of water to stick these 100% safe, natural, and biodegradable pieces together. Kids will be able to take their creations with them.

Gorilla Rose Greetings, L.L.C. - Market Shed - #1

Gorilla Rose Greetings will have two art caddies set up with materials that you can use to create a fun and easy greeting card! Materials include pre-folded cardstock paper in a variety of colors; washi tapes; colored pencils; a variety of colored ink pads; and three different rubber stamp sets: 1) stamps with sayings such as "thank you", "hello", "love ya" and "happy birthday", 2) stamps with a crown, castle, carriage and rainbow, and 3) stamps with an owl, frog, elephant and lion.

Creative Pilgrim – Market Shed – #13 & #14

Visit Creative Pilgrim’s booth to experience Terry Murray’s creative process as a sculptor who works in wood assemblage. Terry will have a simple, unfinished human form made out of wood each day that you can add to using collage, marker, small wooden pieces, or small objects. The creation of this “Simply Human” piece will evolve as each day progresses as people add detail to its surface. Terry will provide the materials and basic tools needed for you to participate!

Craft Explorer - Market Shed - #16

Visit Craft Explorer on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 starting at 10:00am for a fossil painting demonstration. The painting demonstration will be given on the hour until one hour before closing each day. At the end of each demonstration, you'll have a chance to win a prize!

Have a family heirloom hanging around that is special but past it's useful life? Unshattered was created when the founder finally got brave enough to transform her grandfather's coat into a tote bag. A social enterprise that employs women who are winning their fight against addiction, the women of Unshattered handcraft bags out of repurposed materials including Broadway sets, manufacturing scrap, military uniforms, and more. Bring your personal item and work with their artists to design a one of a kind bag using a military uniform, coat, wedding gown, or almost anything you can imagine! Watch Janet Baskerville demonstrate how she creates freeform wire wrappings and weavings on undrilled gemstones, cabochons and various other beads and components for her new silver wire collections of earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

Also, for a small fee, you can make your own wire wrapping on a small pendant! Choose from a large selection of South African tumbled gemstones that you'll wrap in silver plated wire and finish with a leather cord.

Happy Crafters – Supplier Tent – #S-2

Happy Crafters will be selling make-n-takes throughout the entire duration of the festival. Pick from two different types of projects. One will include decorating a variety of tumblers and cups with adhesive vinyl and one will include decorating a tote bag using heat transfer vinyl. Happy Crafters will be there guiding you through the entire process, so whether you are a beginner or an expert this project is for you!

Bob Ross – Supplier Tent – #S-3

One of Bob Ross’ premier certified instructors will engage and delight attendees at this year’s In the MKNG festival. If you’ve watched Bob Ross Channel on Twitch.TV then you know Nic Hankins; he paints and teaches just like Bob and you won’t believe what can happen on canvas in just a few short minutes. Nic will do back-to-back painting demos, raffle super cool Bob Ross swag,, and conduct several FREE make-it-take-its in his In the MKNG booth #S-3. Just look for the big, smiling Bob Ross face and afro – Nick will be there representing television’s favorite painter with pride.

All day Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30, Artesprix will be holding a "Create-n-Take" Booth where you can use Artesprix markers to create your very own keychain, luggage tag, or koozie. Joining the two stars at the Mood Designer Fabrics’ booth is their famous-in-his-own-right mascot, Swatch the Dog, who will model canine fashion and, presumably, pose for selfie photos.

Visit Art is You’s booth for an interactive project involving creating ATC's. Their educators will demo different techniques that they each bring to the table. Kecia Deveney will do live painting on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 from 10:00am-4:00pm. You will also have the opportunity to win a workshop at their retreat at the Sheraton Stamford Hotel commencing October 3, 2019.
